Mac Upgrades
One of the best things you can do to give your older Mac a new lease on life is it to replace the clunky old hard drive with a solid state drive. Now that all your files are loading at least 5x faster, you will notice significantly quicker boot times, much faster app launching, much faster file loading, and much less waiting around.
The other thing you can do is add more RAM. The more programs you have open, the more RAM you use, and the sooner the machine has to start writing 'virtual RAM' to the hard drive. And especially if you have an old-school hard drive, you end up with an unresponsive, slow computer.
Spending a few hundred dollars could well make your computer worth keeping for another couple of years. Contact me to find out your options.
